My studio is part of an old renovated cottage in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. A perpetual student of art, my current practice and study is around figure and life drawing in the Atelier method based on classical traditional techniques.
I attended Art Schools in London and Lancaster and have been working with paint and earth pigments for many years both in vernacular building and on canvas. Creating an image to 'walk into' in the mind's eye is my challenge and goal.
Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.
